In March 1990, NKK Corporation took over the complete after sales service operation of FUJI Diesel, namely including the workshops, drawings, manufacturing records, technical data and the FUJI Diesel engineers. In April 2001, Kawasaki Steel Corporation and NKK Corporation announced that they had reached a basic agreement to consolidate the entire operations of the two companies including their subsidiaries and affiliates, on the basis of equal partnership and in mutual trust. The aim was and is to create a new group with a strong earnings base generated mainly from its core businesses of steel and engineering. JFE Engineering Corporation started on April 1, 2003 in an organized from NKK Corporation and Kawasaki Steel Corporation.
JFE Engineering Corporation under umbrella of JFE Holdings, Inc. puts the emphasis on “Self-manufacturing", and satisfies the customer's demand from the new engine production to after-sales service as an medium speed diesel engine manufacturer with the base in Yokohama City.
Prime movers department is one of the departments of JFE Engineering Corporation of the activities of Prime movers, we provides all kinds of engineering services including operational advice, maintenance, inspection, repair, modification, and supply of genuine spare parts and components for the diesel engines based on extensive technical resources of JFE Engineering Corporation and FUJI Diesel Co., Ltd.
Since the license agreement with MAN DIESEL AND TURBO SAS (formerly S.E.M.T. Pielstick France) in 1964, we have delivered a great number of PC/PA diesel engines for marine and stationary applications. We offer world-wide service for more than 2,500 of the JFE-S.E.M.T.- Pielstisk engines and FUJI diesel engines.

The organization knows the design detail of every individual engine. This makes it possible to always supply the right parts without mistake or delay. Our technical service staff consists of experienced engineers and specialists with JFE-SEMT-Pielstick engines and FUJI diesel engines. When technical service is requested by customer, we send its experienced engineers to the location.
