We have manufactured four (4) of four (4) sets of 12PC2.6V for two (2) Japanese coast guard which are now built at MHI's Shimonoseki ship yard.
Today, we have finished total eight (8) times of shop test that were required by regulations.
This PC2.6 type engine has been modified from basic PC2.6 type to high compression ratio for low Nox tuning. Also crankcase has been reinforced from original design of this engine.

[August 22th, 2011] 12PC2-6B Deliverd for RORO ship
The latest design model of the pielstick type engine that PC2.6B engine was delivered to shipyard today.
The shipment day was rain because of the unfortunate weather; it became a very sensitive movement. We needed to cover the engine by temporarily seat between the transportation ships.
Carefulness was done on carefulness repeatedly, and the lifting up work in the rain was completed and shipped to the shipyard.

[August 8th, 2011] 12PC2.6V (4/4) Shop test for Japanese coast guard Ship
We have manufactured four (4)of four (4) sets 12PC2.6V for two (2) Japanese coast guard .
Today, we have starteded shop test that were required by regulations.
This PC2.6 type engine has been modified from basic PC2.6 type to high compression ratio for low Nox tuning. Also crankcase has been reinforced from original design of this engine.

[July 14th, 2011] 12PC2-6B (2/2) Shop test for RORO Ship
The official shop test for two (2) of two (2) of receiving an order 12PC2.6B was done today.
This engine was made under “JG” that regulation of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
The shop test is including load test, over load test, remote control test and etc.
All these examinations were safely ended today.

[July 9th, 2011] 12PC2-6V x 2 (1/4 and 2/4) Deliverd for Japanese coast guard Ship
The engines were shipped for Japanese coast guard boat in very fine weather like the photograph. Loading was done one by one to the transport vessel that brought alongside to the quay of JFE, and the shipment was completed.
South Pole researching ship "Shirase" can be seen on the interior of the photograph.
"Shirase" , she was built by universal shipbuilding corporation which is one of the group company, and she is now preparing for the coming voyage to South Pole.

[June 7th, 2011] 12PC2-6B (1/2) Shop test for RORO Ship
The official shop test for one (1) of two (2) of receiving an order 12PC2.6B was done today.
This engine was made under “JG” that regulation of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
The shop test is including load test, over load test, remote control test and etc.
