JFE-CAT is the new monitoring system for the crankpin bearing temperature and Engine blow-by!.
New system for detecting abnormal condition more faster than oil mist detector, for stop engine at early stage of damage, minimize damage.
For safer operation, less unexpected serious trouble!
Principal of system
The lubricating oil from crankpin bearing and cylinder liner is received into the oil catcher. Specified oil temperature will be measured with the special sensing device then it is analyzed by computer system.
If an abnormal condition was detected, alarm output signal can be performed to engine remote control system and/or alarm siren.
Trend monitoring in case of Crankpin trouble
Deviation alarm 1: Set temperature for slowdown request (ex 5℃)
Deviation alarm 2: Set temperature for shutdown request (ex 7℃)
High alarm ①: Set temperature for slowdown request (ex 78℃)
High alarm ②: Set temperature for shutdown request (ex 85℃)
All setting value is adjustable. It shall be set at site system test.
Contact signal for above alarm can be prepared for the remote monitoring panel. (NC and NO selection)
Trend monitoring in case of Blow-by trouble
Blow-by alarm: Acceleration of temperature is Calculated by computer for slowdown request and checking the Engine
